Despite legal advancements, the social reality for LGBTQIA+ people in Colombia is less than ideal, especially in culturally conservative places. The Colombian Methodist Church believes that everyone is created in the image of God; therefore, all are called to participate fully in community and ministerial life. They seek to live out their belief by creating welcoming and diverse communities where justice, dignity and hope are lived and proclaimed.
Through the Ministry of Inclusion program, they’re working to ensure ministries are open to all, creating policies that ensure safe environments free from harassment and violence, and developing a culture that expresses their hope to become a denomination that truly embraces and affirms all people.
Your Gift of $50 supports the design, writing, translation, and printing of institutional protocol for inclusion and protection.
