These are the most commonly asked questions about Gifts with Vision. If your question isn’t on the list, please email us.

Before you add each gift to your cart, select the “Send an eCard for this gift” button. This will open up a space for you to enter the recipient’s email address, the message you’d like to include, and the date you would like the card to be sent (up to a year in advance.) Then select the “Add to cart” button to continue with your order.

You will be sent a confirmation email with the details of your Gifts with Vision purchase, along with a tax receipt, once you have completed the checkout process. You can also log in to your Gifts with Vision account to review your purchases at any time.

Only Gifts with Vision given directly to Mission and Service can be credited to a congregation’s Mission and Service goal. You can make a gift for Mission and Service through Gifts with Vision by choosing the Build a Better World through Mission and Service gift option. You will be prompted at checkout to enter the name and city/town of the congregation you wish to credit. If you choose to credit a congregation for your Mission and Service online gift, you will still get a tax receipt for the entire amount of your gift.

We send it to you, the donor. Canadian tax law does not allow us to provide a tax receipt to anyone who did not personally make a donation. Please be sure to check your junk/spam folders if you're having problems locating the email. Contact us if you need a duplicate copy of your receipt.

The church consults with Mission and Service partners and relevant stakeholders for projects with a limited timeframe and a budget separate from our ongoing core program funding. If you would like to suggest a gift, please email Gifts with Vision. If you wish to make a large gift for a specific Mission and Service partner, please consult staff, who can help you make a designated gift to a specific partner.

The first amounts are transferred to partners in December. They will continue to be transferred, usually electronically, on a quarterly schedule as long as gifts are given to a designated project.

We ask our partners to respond with preliminary updates on their projects in June of the following year, and a final report the following May. We will post updates and thank-yous from partners on the Gifts with Vision website as they are received.
