In Cuba, Christian Center for Reflection and Dialogue (CCRD) provides care and services for elderly people, disabled people, and those with special needs who have no family members to help them or who are homeless. And this year, CCRD would like to expand their care to trans people who are experiencing challenges like violence and lack of safe employment. By providing basic food like milk, sugar, and rice – all of which are hard to find and expensive – CCRD will remove some of the burdens from the lives of the people they serve.
