Education for girls in Zambia is often difficult to achieve. They are often forced to drop out of school when they begin to menstruate, or if they marry or become pregnant, or if their families need their help at home. This gives them little opportunity for anything but a life of poverty. People’s Action Forum (PAF) has been working to support girls through their Girls’ Action Forum education program since 2014, and now it’s growing a new girls’ education program in a new school. The school began with education for the youngest children, and as it grows, plans are now being made for a separate preschool along with starting work on the secondary school.
