Music is important for children and youth, both to relieve stress and to strengthen cognitive skills. But with the rising cost of living, many families are finding it difficult to provide their children with musical experiences. In London, ON, First-St. Andrew’s United Church’s “Treblemakers” program helps children and youth ages 3 through 17 learn basic music skills. The weekly program includes a community meal followed by singing, handbells and chimes, and an opportunity to participate in drama.
Your Gift of $25 will provide four nourishing meals for one child or youth.
