Equip a Child for School
GWVECS20
Regular price $20.00Indigenous and tribal communities in India have the lowest literacy rates in the country. Many students are unable to attend even the free government schools because they can’t afford the notebooks and pens they need to do the work, and many also live far away from the schools. Human Rights Advocacy and Research Foundation is helping Indigenous and tribal students to break the chains of poverty by providing backpacks filled with school supplies. These school bags will let them carry what they need over the long distances they must travel, as well as helping them succeed at school.
Your Gift of $20 will provide a school bag containing notebooks, pens, ruler, and a box of geometry instruments, as well as pamphlets on children’s rights.
