In remote northern Alberta, Sakaw’nehiyawak (Woodland Cree) youth at Little Red River Cree Nation learn Cree language, cultural practices, and environmental knowledge from Elders and teachers in an outdoor education program through our partners at the Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources. These youth need proper outerwear to weather the harsh winter with temperatures that can drop below –50 degrees. Through your generous gifts in 2018–2019, several youth received full winter outfits, and many more received mittens and gloves. Thank you!
Your Gift of $20 provides one pair of mittens or gloves.
Your Gift of $360 provides a complete set of outdoor winter gear.
