Indigenous youth who face systemic racism in their daily lives connect with their traditions through caring for horses at Cartier Farms in Prince Albert, SK. The Equine Assisted Learning Program was developed by the United Church's Indigenous Ministries Circle to counter the injustices these youth have experienced. At the farm, when pandemic conditions permit, they work with magnificent horses, learn traditional teachings and ceremonies from Elders, bond over shared experiences, and strive to become leaders in their community.

Your Gift of $60 will support Indigenous youth on their leadership journey as they work and learn from Elders to counter injustice and systemic racism.
