During Africa’s AIDS crisis in the mid-2000s, grandmothers across the continent became the primary caregivers to their orphaned grandchildren. Today, these grandchildren continue to rely on their grandmothers for guidance and support. The World Council of Churches’ Ecumenical HIV and AIDS Initiatives and Advocacy program ensures that grandmothers across Africa have the training and resources they need to help secure the future for this generation. In 2019–2020, nearly 100 grandmothers received support through your Gifts. Thank you!
Your Gift will support livelihood training for one grandmother.
